Combined performance-maintenance bond
A combined performance-maintenance bond protects the buyer against extra costs, penalties or damages that may be incurred if the contractor does not complete the project in the time stipulated in the contract. During the guarantee period following completion, this assurance covers the buyer’s costs in making good deficiencies and damage in cases where, for some reason, the contractor is unable to do so.
