Customs bond
A company trading with countries outside the EU is obliged to pay certain taxes and charges to the Swedish Customs, Tullverket. For practical reasons the Customs will issue the company credit, which must be backed by a guarantee.
The customs bond ensures that the Customs will receive the money even if the company becomes insolvent.
